I am new to the cycle world. I am in the market for my first bike and I must say that this forum has been quite informative. I wanted to do a lot of research before I jumped in and bought a bike, and I must say that my first thought was to get a sports bike. But as I gained more info on motorcycles I have started to look beyond the sporty looks of a bike and have become a fan of the cruiser. I am also a man of small stature, all of 5 feet 4 inches, but it was not my hight or lack there of that made me a Savage fan, it was the styling of the Savage and lets be honest the price. I am looking now to see if it would be better to purchase the bike in the states or when I am overseas? I am not sure as to the required modifcations that need to be made to make it legal in the states, if any of you have any info it would be greatly apreciated. I hope to get the joy in riding that it seems many of you in this forum do.
